Meet Megan.
Megan is the Founder and CEO of Abode Away Properties; she started her boutique management company to mesh her passion of real estate and hosting guests. Her mission is to create a curated collection of luxe, unique homes across New York - deliver 5 star guest stays, and an unbeatable homeowner experience.
She graduated from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State with a combined degree of Marketing and Supply Chain. With a background in Marketing, her expertise lies in providing a valuable product for her clients. At Abode Away Properties, our core value is treating your home like our own.
Her journey in hospitality began when she spent many summers working high-end, luxury weddings, providing only the best experience for her clients from decor, guest relations, vendor arrangements and more. While prioritizing excellence, personalization, and sophistication, Megan brings these core values into her property management company: Abode Away Properties.

Meet Ryan.
Ryan is the General Manager of Five Star, a short-term rental management company specializing in luxury and unique stays. Ryan has a Bachelor's degree in Experience Industry Management and Entrepreneurship from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where he served as the former president of the Real Estate Association and maintains an active involvement as an alumnus.
In his previous role at Locale, an upscale short-term rental management company, Ryan led the expansion of their national real estate portfolio. With prior success as an Asset Manager overseeing a $350 million portfolio and a background in facilitating multimillion-dollar commercial real estate transactions at Marcus & Millichap, Ryan applies his analytical and negotiation skills from the commercial world to his residential practice.
